Registering--Check!!

As of this afternoon, our gift wish list is set to go. This was by far the most challenging wedding task we've completed so far. Why so challenging, you ask?

It's because Jim actually had an opinion on this! With everything else, he simply said "Whatever you want, dear!" Was it wrong to think that I'd hear that when asking him about registering?

We did the Target registry together a few weeks ago and finished up with Macy's today. In between, I tackled the Bed, Bath and Beyond registry myself.

Let's just say, while I know I have to include him, because it's his wedding, too....it was so much more relaxed and easy at Bed, Bath and Beyond.

I think there might be double items at some registries, but really, it was not worth the fight to try to convince him we didn't need those ugly tacky fascinating drinking glasses. This way, he'll get the ugly tacky fascinating drinking glasses that he wants, and I'll get the right ones that I wanted.

So, there you have it...we are one step closer to getting hitched! The first shower invites have gone out and it was truly a weird feeling seeing it posted on my future mother-in-law's refrigerator last night! I still have moments where I think to myself "Whoa! That's me!"
