I am truly in love with all aspects of planning this wedding! I just get so caught up in all the little details. Will anyone else appreciate all the tiny things I've done? Probably just my mom and Cara, because they are the ones that listen to my constant brainstorms and idea changes.
We have been working on coming up with an easy, yet awesome, decoration idea for the reception hall. We are tackling this project ourselves, so it can't be anything too complicated. In my never ending search on the internet, I came across this picture:
AH! Perfect! I have been trying to figure out where I can encorporate the monogram I created and this may very well be the solution! One aisle runner, a little paint, and I hope to have a DIY initial banner that looks almost as cool as this one!
I have the steps all down in my head, now let's just see if I can make it work!
On the stationery side of the wedding planning, we have currently purchased all paper for our invites and programs!
My parents came up last weekend and we headed over to Paper Depot. We had previously been there to make the mockup so we just had to order what we needed! I found envelopes for 16 cents from here instead of paying the 50 cents that they wanted to charge at Paper Depot. We ordered them on Saturday and they arrived on Tuesday! When I talked to my mom today, she said they were even able to find the rest of the patterned paper for the sides of the invites!
I'm going to figure out how to blur out the personal information and I"ll come back to edit the insert cards. I'm SO impressed with out they turned out. I love them so much! :)
