It's real...

Our invites are ready to mail out. All 175 of them.
(I don't know that I'm ready to talk about what will happen if everyone invited says yes.)
My mom, Shirley (Jim's mom), Andrea (a bridesmaid), and myself worked on Saturday to cut, stuff and lick. It actually only took a couple hours, and really went fast once we got into a rhythm. There are only a few mismatched RSVP cards...but it's all good!
I am so excited to take these to the post office tomorrow morning. Let my {exciting} daily trips to the mailbox begin.
55 days!!

2 months, 2 weeks, 2 days! (Too much to do!)

Where has the time gone? It's already August. I have been busy getting little and not so little wedding projects done this summer. I headed home to my parent's house this weekend to tackle some and also attend a wedding shower for my high school friend, Amy.

I came home Friday morning, and my lovely hairstylist mom was able to sneak me in for a hair trial!

I LOVE IT!

The bridesmaid dresses also came in last week...and I love them too!

Here is my lovely crinoline. It has no idea what is going to happen to it in a few short minutes. Do you see that lovely PINK water?
My crinoline didn't know what hit it!!:)

Waiting for it to soak up all the pink goodness.... Ta-da!!! As a re-occuring theme here on this post, I LOVE IT!
Just a cute Dad picture. :) He really likes the crinoline too!
Today, my mom and I tackled all the centerpiece flowers. We had to cut the stems, tie them up in bundles and remove the price tags.

The final product will be this, plus some pearls in the vase to cover up the fake less than real stems.
I might add a ribbon or bow around the vase, but we'll see.
The invitations are put together, thanks to my lovely future mother in law and two of her scrapbook/card making friends! They plowed away on them last week and assembled most of it for me!! Such a huge relief to not have to tackle that alone! Now, I just have to finish getting addresses, and they should be ready to send by the end of this month.
There, that should catch you up on the wedding! :)
